CFCC Announces Winners of Jan 8th Online Rapid Prize Tournament!

 

Saturday’s Online Rapid Winners (1/8)

$250 Prize Fund Percentage: 88% (based on 16/18 players)

The club wishes to congratulate Sina Movahed (Akbar_mo) for his clear 1st place win in Saturday’s online rapid with a score of 3.5/4 points and a prize payout of $70.40. Alireza Bosagh Zadeh (bossaghzadeh), Eric Cooke (thingone11), Jayant Maheshwari (Flareblitz7), and Ryan Putney (ryry8000) all tied for 2nd/3rd place with 3/4 points and a combined prize payout of $17.60/ea.

Under Prizes

With 2.5/4 points, Robert Lachaussee (youllsoonbedust) won our top U1800 with a prize of $26.40. With 2/4 points, Rick Anthony (ra1967m), Tristan L'Heureux (T308) and Sushil Kumar (SushilTayal) tied for our top U1500 prize of $8.80/ea., while Aidan Rodgers (Arodgers3) won our top U1200 prize of $26.40!

We had 16 club players competing in Saturday’s rapid online prize tournament that includes a chess.com results table listing all the players and tournament standings.

We will not have an online tournament in 2 weeks as it coincides with our in-person CFCC 2022 Winter Open & Scholastic hotel tournament in South Orlando on the weekend of January 21-23, 2022. We look forward to our next chess.com Rapid 15|10 online prize tournament on February 5, 2022 that starts precisely at 2pm (EST)!
