CFCC August 2015 Tornado, Round 1
John Ludwig (2399) was held to a draw in the last round by James Kirk (1888) as the two players shared first in the CFCC Tornado. Kirk went where no man has gone before in drawing with the dynamic Ludwig who had managed to sweep aside all other opponents this summer. In all, eight of the thirteen players claimed cash prizes as well as two drawn prizes for free entries into future CFCC events. The small turnout was the result of the start of school as well as a competing event in Daytona Beach.
The CFCC will continue to put on summer tornadoes, and is prepping for the State Championship to be held at the Wyndham hotel this labor day weekend.
